I am looking for stories (either real or fiction) that show the above stated. I am looking for stories that pertain to ages 5-14. Multiple stories or links to stories are appreciated.

There is a book and a documentary called "Touching the Void". Granted, they're not kids, but the story is amazing anyway!
It's about two mountain climbers who wind up in a BAD situation. One of them ends up with a broken leg, falls many feet into a crevasse, and still manages to hike back to base camp many miles over a rugged glacier while dying of hunger, starvation, and internal bleeding. I'm reading a book now Blessing from the other side by Sylvia Browne
she also got temples from the other side but I've not got that one as of yet the blessing 's from the other side is pretty good and involves people etc meditations |

There are the Near Death Experience of Children--someone wrote a book about them, specifically of children, a few years ago. [I'm talking about going through the tunnel of light, seeing the being of light, seeing a dead relative, etc.]. Actually, I knew 2 people years ago who had had them. One was a man--he told me the story so thoroughly that I could almost recite it to you by heart--he was 10, even went so far that he met a man 'who he assumed was Jesus, although the man didn't say.''
....but you can probably find such stories online these days. |
